Field Note — The Crossing: 7/7 and the Mid-July Field

Between the Gateway of Co-Creation and the Lion's Gate --in Co-

Register: factual scaffolding computed to the arcminute (Swiss Ephemeris via pyswisseph, geocentric apparent, Lahiri ayanamsa — same method and flags as the locked 7/7 source file, which every figure below agrees with). Tradition-language readings are offered as a lens to feel against.

The two anchors, as the source file holds them: the exact stellar crossing — Sun on Sirius, 14°27′ Cancer — falls **6 July, 11:54 UT** (04:54 Tucson). The numeric gate is **7/7**.

What the 7/7 day holds

The Moon walks the interval. She crosses 0° Aries at **15:07 UT on 6 July — about three hours after the exact Sun–Sirius crossing** — and stands inside the interval band through the whole of 7/7, leaving through the far gate (24°14′ Aries) at 10:30 UT on 8 July. The swiftest body in the sky spends the numeric gate day inside the band. On 7/7 at midday she stands at 11°30′ Aries, between Neptune and Saturn.

Neptune stations retrograde inside the band, on the day, nearly at the hour. Neptune turns Rx at **10:55 UT on 7 July**, at 4°25′ Aries — inside the interval, where it has stood beside Saturn since February. The imaginal frontier turns inward for its yearly review from within the threshold itself.

The band on 7/7 holds five: Moon, Saturn, Neptune, Vesta, Pallas. The tended flame and the discerning craft (Vesta 20°03′, Pallas 18°55′ Aries) remain side by side near Saturn; the Moon joins them for the day. Chiron stays departed; Juno stands apart in Aquarius, retrograde.

The surrounding sky: Jupiter walks early Leo (1°34′) — the crossing made, six days into the Lion. Mars carries the fresh charge of its Uranus conjunction (exact 4 July, 06:08 UT) at 6° Gemini. Mercury reviews the waters of Cancer, retrograde until 23 July. Venus at 27° Leo, finishing her passage of the Lion.

Lens from the tradition: the gate whose defining star is Sopdet/Isis opens, and the Moon — the feminine luminary — enters the interval within hours and keeps the numeric day from inside it, while the imaginal turns inward at the same threshold. Received meaning is Reese's to sound.

The mid-July field

14 July, 09:44 UT — New Moon at 21°59′ Cancer, conjunct Mercury Rx. The seed-point of the arc, planted in Cancer's soil under a reviewing mind: what is seeded returns to be planted where it was always meant to grow.

Venus crosses into Virgo (~10–11 July; 5° Virgo by the New Moon) — relational warmth moving from radiance into devotion-to-craft — with a brief jolt from her square to Uranus on 13 July.

15–25 July — the constructive lattice hums: Uranus sextile Neptune (15 Jul), Uranus trine Pluto (18 Jul), then Jupiter amplifying the whole configuration from early Leo (20–21 Jul). The generational sky briefly harmonizes beneath the personal weather, with Neptune holding its corner of the lattice from inside the band.

The band through mid-July holds steady: Saturn, Neptune Rx, Vesta, Pallas — the slow marriage of form and spirit, flanked by the two feminine powers. And a hinge sits just past mid-month: Vesta reaches the far gate on 24 July, 08:43 UT — within a day of Mercury stationing direct (23 July). The tended flame completes her passage of the interval as the mind turns forward. Pallas remains in the band well beyond, the discerning craft still standing in the threshold as the arc turns toward the Lion's Gate (8/8) and the 12 August eclipse at 20° Leo.

The planets of the Crossing — the tradition's lens, and the invitation each offers

A glossary for the reader: **Rx** marks retrograde — the stretch when a planet appears to move backward against the zodiac from Earth's vantage. The tradition reads it as that planet's function turned inward: review, return, re-vision, at full strength.

*The meanings below are the inherited language of the tradition. The invitations and inquiries are composed in that language, offered to those who wish to receive them — each one a question held open, never an instruction. What arrives in response belongs to the one who crosses.*

**Sun** — the vital self, sovereignty, the life-giving center. In Cancer, identity sounds through home, roots, memory, belonging; it crosses Sirius, the herald-star of renewal, then walks toward its own sign, Leo (22 July).

*Invitation: to let renewal be heralded before it is visible. What feeds your light now — and what is that light readying to illuminate?*

**Moon** — the feeling body, memory, instinct, the tides of the daily; swiftest of the bodies. She walks the interval band through the whole of 7/7, then arrives new in Cancer — her own sign, fully dignified — on 14 July.

*Invitation: to let feeling itself make the crossing. What wants to be seeded in the soil where you actually live?*

**Mercury** — mind, speech, exchange, the messenger. Retrograde in Cancer the whole window, moving back over the waters of memory and the language of belonging; it turns forward 23 July.

*Inquiry: which words of home ask to be revisited before they are spoken again? The invitation is to draft, revisit, and refine — and to carry forward only what the review confirms.*

**Venus** — love, beauty, values, the drawing-together force. She finishes Leo (love radiant, wanting to be seen) and crosses into Virgo (~10–11 July), where love changes register into devotion, service, and care in the details — with a brief jolt from her square to Uranus (13 July).

*Inquiry: how does your love move from being seen to tending? And where a surprise loosens an old preference — what freedom is it offering?*

**Mars** — will, drive, courage, the cutting edge of action. In Gemini (quick, verbal, many-handed), fresh from exact conjunction with Uranus (4 July): will fused with lightning.

*Invitation: to act with the quickening while choosing the wire it runs through. Where is the charge in you asking for a worthy channel?*

**Jupiter** — the greater benefic: expansion, grace, opportunity, faith. Newly crossed into Leo (30 June) after a year exalted in Cancer — grace relocating from the hearth to the heart, once every twelve years.

*Inquiry: what in your heart is ready to grow in the open? The invitation is to let generosity lead the expansion.*

**Saturn** — form, limit, time, commitment, the architect. In Aries — structure learning to move first and alone — standing inside the interval band, paired with Neptune since February.

**Uranus** — the awakener: sudden change, liberation, the bolt from outside the known. Early Gemini, newly arrived, triggered by Mars at the window's opening and harmonizing with the other slow planets mid-month.

**Neptune** — the imaginal, dream, dissolution, the spiritual tide. Early Aries, inside the band — and it stations retrograde on 7/7 itself, at the threshold it has occupied all season.

**Pluto** — depth, power, regeneration, the underworld. Retrograde in Aquarius: the slow composting of collective structures.

**The goddesses and the border-keeper.** **Vesta**, the tended flame and sacred hearth, has stood in the interval band since before the Solstice and reaches the far gate 24 July. *Inquiry: what flame have you kept alight through the whole passage — and what does its completion free you to carry?* **Pallas**, discerning wisdom and craft, remains in the band well beyond. *Invitation: to let discernment keep standing in the threshold after the tending is complete.* **Juno**, the bond of union, retrograde and apart in Aquarius. *Inquiry: what commitment reviews itself best from a respectful distance?* **Ceres**, nourishment, walks Gemini. *Invitation: to let words and exchange be food.* **Chiron**, the border-keeper and wounded healer, has fully departed the band. *The threshold stands unguarded — the invitation is to meet it directly.*

The movements between them, and what each offers

In the tradition's aspect language: conjunction is fusion, sextile is offered opportunity, trine is effortless flow, square is friction that demands action, opposition is polarity seeking balance.

- **Mars conjunct Uranus (4 Jul), then sextile Neptune and trine Pluto (5 Jul)** — ignition wired to all three outer planets at once. *Invitation: to receive the breakthrough and give it a body before it dissipates.*

- **Neptune stations Rx inside the band (7 Jul)** — the imaginal turns inward on the numeric gate day. *Inquiry: held from inside the threshold — what have you been dreaming, and who gave you the dream?*

- **Venus square Uranus (13 Jul)** — a jolt to values and affections. *Inquiry: what does the restlessness know that the routine has been managing?*

- **New Moon in Cancer, conjunct Mercury Rx (14 Jul)** — the seed-point of the arc, planted under a reviewing mind. *Invitation: to plant what was always meant to grow, and to let the seed keep its draft quality.*

- **The lattice (15–25 Jul): Uranus sextile Neptune, Uranus trine Pluto, Neptune sextile Pluto** — the three slow planets, each newly arrived in new ground, briefly harmonize. *Invitation: to notice the structural grace humming beneath the personal weather, and to build one thing that rides it.*

- **Jupiter floods the lattice (20–21 Jul): trine Neptune, sextile Uranus, opposition Pluto** — grace to the imaginal, grace to the breakthrough, and expansion facing power directly — the one hard aspect in the set. *Inquiry: where expansion meets power, what asks to be held rather than won?*

- **Mercury direct (23 Jul) and Vesta through the far gate (24 Jul), within a day of each other** — the mind turns forward as the tended flame completes her passage of the interval. *Invitation: to carry forward, at last, what the whole review and the whole tending have confirmed.*

One thread worth seeing whole: both benefics change registers this window — Jupiter into the Lion's fire, Venus into Virgo's devotion — while both mental tides turn: Mercury back then forward, Neptune inward. The sky quickens and reviews at once. *The season's own inquiry, perhaps: what would it mean to move faster and look deeper in the same breath?*
